Bayern Munich are in talks to extend the contract of Robert Lewandowski's agent, according to Julian Nagelsmann.
Lewandowski has a contract with the Bundesliga champions until June 2023, with Barcelona linked with a move for the top striker.
Bayern Munich have met with Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi as the club try to keep the 33-year-old.
Nagelsmann hopes to reach an agreement.
"I asked if it was a good conversation. It seemed clear, but it did not mean anything.
"My situation has not changed. "We want to keep it and extend the contract."
Nagelsmann is preparing to wait for a decision on Lewandowski's future.
"You know Pini loves negotiation and needs a little patience, but that's one of my biggest strengths."
Lewandowski became the first player in the Bundesliga to score at least 34 goals last week.
